48 Pts wins CM Event @ Sandburn Hall
Thank you for supporting the event yesterday. Once again, we had 82 pairs taking part on an excellent day for golf. Sandburn is a fine Golf Course and the YUGC received some great feedback on the condition and layout of the course. I sincerely hope that you enjoyed this York based club – they certainly looked after us all very well!
A big thank you must go out (as always) to the YUGC personnel on duty yesterday. They did a great job supporting the day, as did the staff at Sandburn.
On a good day for scoring, there were 65 pairs scoring par or better! Great golf Gents!
A good number of the scores were posted for handicap records as per the WHS qualifying criteria.
Well done to all players and especially the prize winners (see below). A great score to win of 48 points from a new pair to County Members in 2024 from Birley Wood.
