Seniors back to winning ways with win v Cheshire
The Yorkshire Senior Team returned to winning ways with a hard fought win over Cheshire at Prestbury Golf Club on Monday 16th June 2025.
Cheshire led 3.5 to 2.5 after the morning greensomes but a determined and spirited fight back in the afternoon left Yorkshire winning the match by 11.5 to 6.5.
The side lost its Captain Andy King on the morning of the game but thankfully Frank Greaves was on hand to step up and play his part in a much needed victory.
The next match is away to Northumberland in mid July
