Course Rating is a fundamental part of the World Handicapping System and the WHS Rules of Handicapping require each course (set of tees) at a club to be rated at least every 10 years.
To deliver the Course Rating services YUGC & YLCGA have a group of trained volunteers that assist Lead Assessors.
YUGC & YLCGA will continue to maintain the course assessment rotation as well as re-visit clubs who have either made changes, require temporary ratings or require a course rating for other genders.
The re-rating programme for Yorkshire is shown below and is determined in a chronological order based on when a Club was originally rated. To assist clubs in their forward planning the provisional schedule indicates the year in which clubs can potentially expect their sets of tees to be re-rated. Clubs will be contacted in the early part of the year in which their tee sets will be re-rated.
Please be aware that the schedule is not binding as circumstances may necessitate change.
Should a club be considering any alterations that may affect the course rating of a particular set of tees or require any advice on course rating please contact the YUGC or YLCGA rating teams using the Course Rating Contact Form
