2017 Yorkshire Foursomes Final

The final of the Yorkshire Foursomes was played on Sunday 01 October at The Oaks Golf Club between Ganton Golf Club, represented by Tony Hill and David Hague and Woodhall Hills Golf Club, represented by Mark Reed and Ben Rhodes.

The fairways and greens were in good condition and dry compared to areas of the rough after the heavy overnight rain.

Although the match started in rain it cleared up after six holes, unfortunately Woodhall Hills by this point had lost five holes. The score remained the same after eighteen holes.

The second round started similarly with Woodhall Hills losing the first three holes. Ganton then went on to win nine and eight.

In the Club House after the event the Yorkshire President, Alastair Davidson congratulated the players on reaching the final and presented the players with trophies.
